Yesterday we had goose legs delivered from the Christmas card. Can just be recommended. The holiday soup is also very tasty.

We went to the inn for the second time today and, like the first time, were absolutely thrilled. Nice service, very good home-style cooking at fair prices and a cozy atmosphere. Should we be in the area again, we will definitely come back here. Highly recommended!

In contrast to our well-rated visit here a long time ago, this time we were not so satisfied with the quality of the food. The amount of meat (especially for the price, but no matter how much it would have cost) was very small and a quarter of it was not to be eaten because it was cartilage. Unfortunately, we decided to visit other locations during the week

Had lunch here spontaneously today. Nice and friendly welcome, great ambience with lots of charm. The food was delicious, the goulash was very tender and the red cabbage still had a good bite. I liked that very much. Price and performance reasonable. I found it nice that the guests who apparently had reserved were greeted by name. Our child was happy about the painting materials and books. The two guys did their job very well today, we felt very comfortable. I would eat here again. Many Thanks!

We loved it! Four went to dinner. All dishes were freshly prepared and were excellent in taste. Very good Lusatian specialties but also a nice selection of standard dishes. Super nice and friendly service. The ambience and furnishings were very appealing and made you feel good. Well worth a visit at any time. Keep it up!

Free tables are reluctant to be allocated. It is imperative to reserve in advance. should you still decide to eat there without a reservation then you should be prepared for longer waiting times. Because reserving at "Wirtshaus zum Alten Sack" means not only reserving a table but also preferential service.

Wanted to have a bite to eat and drink something at 1:50 p.m. Unfortunately the waiter rejected us. Reason: We are closed from 2:30 p.m., go somewhere else. 3 stars because 1 year ago everything was still good. What a shame

Very tasty Upper Lusatian food, but exceptionally tasty and exciting. Also very suitable for vegetarians and a large selection in general. Very creatively designed (both the interior and the menu, which is funny in the local dialect and is also translated nicely) Very friendly service and very good prices. A delicious and fun experience.

Great food, great atmosphere, lovely staff. Went there with an allergy and they promised they can cater to any need one might have and they delivered. Strong recommendation!
